No,not at all.I've always been very individual in my style of dress.
I think I would be far more embarrassed if I went to a social gathering and there was someone dressed the same as me.
There are occasions when its not appropriate and you have to tone it down and be more conservative, for business or out of respect.
To be really honest, the only part of getting older that I don't like is,there are styles that would just look ridiculous on someone like me, who is way past their teens.
Age doesn't mean you ever have to look like everyone else,or Grandma Frump.I would feel absolutely ridiculous in a nice, but very conservative pair of pants,shirt-top and jacket.
It doesn't have to cost a lot to maintain a very stylish, but individual look.
I just love the op shops, though they are not as good and a lot more expensive than they once were.Save your money and always have leather or designer shoes,vinyl/plastic looks cheap and doesn't last.Choose good handbags and sunglasses that suit your face.Doing that makes almost anything else you wear look great.
Keep it simple and choose the right cuts and styles for your shape etc.
I am a firm believer that your choice of style is a reflection of your personality.
Guess I must be pretty eclectic.

Mike you are so funny lol. When I was a lil kid I would get embarrassed if I was the only one dressed up and I see other people wearing jeans but now that I'm a grown up I don't seem to care. I think when your a grown up you shouldn't worry about what other people wear. I mean who cares what other people think your only worrying about yourself and not others. You sound like a lil kid when you are embarrassed of what you wear. I mean how old are you? Only lil kids get embarrassed of what they wear not adults. That's just strange that you think that.

i usually wear what other people are wearing so i don't always feel that way but it has happened to me a few times. like one time. i was wearing jeans and everybody else was wearing skirts and shorts but the only reason i was wearing jeans was because i hadn't checked the forecast.

I only wear what I truly am comfortable in. The only time I am embarrassed is if I get a spot (such as spill on myself) that is noticeable and can't cover it up.
Never embarrassed, I think I have pretty good taste-
