i'm really freaking out about this project and i have no idea what to do it on. English is not my best subject and i hate public speaking. This project sucks for me. I'm not looking forward to doing this and i want to make it as easy as possible. Which will still not be easy.
Can you give me some topics that would be easy to write a 10 page paper on and easy for me to find a mentor for my project. Also i have to do some kind of product for it so it needs to be something i can easily do.
Really and ideas will help.

Pick a subject that fascinates you. That way, you enjoy what you are doing and can improve your understanding of it.

- What is the impact of worldwide user forums like this ? What can be the next stage of evolution for such forums ? Can you start an example web site that will show how that future would look like ?
- While we all hear about the evils of the major corporations, what are the positive sides of them to the general society. How did Yahoo, Google, Ebay, Microsoft, etc. improve the quality of life for the general human kind ? If such innovations did not happen, what would it be like. You can buy some extremely obscure things from a remote part of the world on Ebay and show them as the physical item for your project.
Purpose of the senior project is for you to increase understanding, as well as to get you familiar with the ways to communicate your ideas to others. It serves a very important purpose in your education and future career. If you find some thing you can enjoy, you will get a lot out of it.

What about doing one on the dangers of smokeless tobacco (chewing tobacco and such)? There is a lot of data about cancer of the throat and mouth from this type of tobacco. You could choose an oral surgeon or throat surgeon as a mentor and could shadow them with some of their patients. Good luck.

How about the promise of fuel cells as an alternative energy source? You could probably even build a simple one for demonstration purposes.

i feel u gurl. i had to the same thing, kinda. but we had to write a 3300 word research paper. then later we gotta do a speech about it in front of the school board. how about writing about ur career choice. thats what we had to do. and u can find someone who works in that field and interview them for ur speech.
