The age when you can emotionally, mentally, physically, AND financially support the child on your own 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; because there are never any guarantees that the other parent will help you in any way.

And why is this question in "Pregnancy & Parenting > Adolescent"?

For people who have a husband, an education, sound health, a secure home, and an income to support a child, 25. Twenty-five is well past adolescence and right in the heart of prime childbearing years, when a person still has all the energy it takes to get up at night a kazillion times and take care of an infant, then chase a toddler through the terrible twos. People who have kids while they are teenagers are deprived of economic and educational opportunity, and people have have kids at those higher yuppie ages, forty or worse, end up coping with teenagers and college expenses when they themselves are edging into senior citizenhood. Either way, it ends up being unfair to parent and child. That's why I vote for the mid-twenties!

Age is not a factor in when to get pregnant.

A good time to get pregnant is when you are in a loving, committed realtionship. If you have plenty of money, health insurance, a reliable vehicle and a decent home then I would say that is when you are ready.

Hey it isn't so much about age as it is maturity and lifestyle...
Ask your self some key questions then judge for yourself by your answers... For eg.
1. Am I emoitional secure enough to be responsible for another life?
2. Am i mature enough?
3. Am I in a stable releshonship (unless you want to be a single parent)?
4. Can I afford a child?

Anyways i think you get the idea...

Good luck with your decesion and hope this helps

I don't think a number should be put on in it. I think if you can support a baby with two strong parents and emotionally, physically, and financially (in your own house on your two feet!) then that's the right time to try for kids. And i'm not talking down on anyone, but we are talking about the best time to get pregnant and to me this is ideal.

wrong section. and you should be @ least 25, have a GOOD education college included, a husband(suspecting your female), and a GOOD job to where you can support yourself and child WELL w/ or w/out your husband. And you need to be emotionally and physically equipped @ the age you get pregnant!
