I had to take a lady to the hospital, & then I slept most of the day, & now, I'm on the computer. I didn't do much.

Had a migraine yesterday...slept through the ball dropping at midnight. Got up made black eyed peas and ham hock and went to see Night at the Museum. Now I AM on the computer while watching Reba.....What an exciting life I lead!

Looking at all the other answers, people seemed to have miserable New years :"(
I didn't do much, but I watched a few movies, had a bunch of drinks, and watched the ball drop with the man of my dreams. I got my Midnight kiss, that's what I wanted :)
I enjoy staying in since I can't trust anyone on the road ways at that time.

Watched the ball drop, slept, woke up, ate, called my aunt, and spent the day just slummin' around. I used to go out on NYE but don't care about it anymore. Indoors is better, too many drunks on the road. Very happy to get the day off, for sure!

My husband and I had a nice romantic dinner complete with candlelight and champagne, then we watched football and finished off the champagne and ended up going to bed early and cuddling and, well....you get the picture!
We didn't make it up until midnight, but we celebrated the New Year this morning in bed the same way we celebrated the end of the year last night!

Watched T.V., slept, cooked a big dinner, played with the dogs, played on the computer, watched more T.V. am back on computer, a good day spent at home, just kickin it.

Went to my friend's house, ate chocolate fondue, danced around to the music on the radio and to Gym Class Heroes and The Academy Is..., posed for my friend's new camera, raided Josh's room for suit coats, drank a lot of fake champagne, ate a LOT of popcorn, and clinked glasses and danced some more at midnight.

I went out with my friends to Universal Stuidio City Walk outside doing the countdown. This New Year's was the first time I didn't get drunk. I had completely forgot to get myself a drink. I was so busy with my friends that I forgot. The funniest part was I had a blast and I was completely sober.

My partner and I walked down to the falls (Niagara Falls, Ontario) and stood in the pouring rain watching the group Foreigner perform and then watched the fireworks at midnight over the falls before walking back. It was great.
