Did you refill the cartridges youself, if you did you need to zap the chip, go to JR inks to buy the zapper.

Epson printers do not like compatable cartridges. The ink is often the wrong thickness and clogs up the nozzles. It may be possible that this has happened to your printer. I suggest running head clean several times to see if this helps. If not try another set of proper epson cartridges, if this does not work, i would think the nozzels are completely blocked. If you can help it do not use compatable cartridges for any printer, especially not Epson the printers do not last as long if you do!

Check your Status Monitor to see if they're full. If not you might simply need to remove them and reinsert them to get the Status Monitor to recognise the new cartridges.
That failing, there are a few tricks you can try. Epson has a downloadable .pdf document that'll help you out.
