Read this book: The Mozart Effect, by Don Campbell. Music is definitely effective as a tool for therapy and recovery.

I believe we are creators and if you really truly believe that music can cure a dis-ease, then it will! Music is very calming and soothing, and relaxing,...all things which are condusive to healing, so I am a very firm believer that music can cure dis-ease! So can laughter and joy and positive thinking....

yes indian classical music has a whole section devoted to different tunes for different diseases played or sung at a particular time. you can search he web and i am sure will foind the desired results.

well there is music therapy which certainly can help conditions and reduce symptoms...I'm not sure however if it can cure.
