Oh, USC showed that Michigan didn't belong there. Sorry, but I knew Michigan couldn't handle USC's speed, especially at WR, but the vaunted Michigan offensive line got chewed up and spit out by USC's D. Michigan blockers got almost no push against USC defenders, which is why Hart was getting hit pretty much at the line of scrimmage.
They took the running game away and forced Chad Henne to try and beat them. And, as Henne has shown throughout his career, he can't.
Carroll made the adjustments after the UCLA game to make Booty more mobile, and Michigan couldn't handle it.
Lloyd Carr got outcoached big time in a big game. Wow, who saw that coming, huh? I tell ya, I'm shocked...

Yes, regardless of what happened in this game. Throughout the regular season, Michigan was the 2nd best team in the country. They EARNED their shot at playing in the National Championship game. Obviously they didn't play well enough to win today, but that by no means changes the fact they deserved to be playing Ohio State on a neutral field in a week.
