Don't waste your money on a Travel Agent. It's best to book your vacation directly through the Walt Disney World website - that's how I do it every year. It's really simple.
First off, start by reviewing the different vacation package selections for 2007...

I wouldnt' bother with a travel agent. Everything you need is online. I think someone here already posted the link to Walt Disney World.
Basically, all you have to do (besides get there) is pick which resort. There are three "types" - value, moderate and deluxe. Very costly if you stay above value, if you ask me.
Then it will ask you about tickets. I was going to go to WDW last summer with my daughter and discovered that it makes more sense to go for a week than for 3 days. The cost per day (admission to parks) goes down incredibly if you stay for a week. It will also ask you if you want never expiring passes, admission to the water parks, etc. Once you pick the lodging and the passes/options, you are done! And the site will give you all of that information.

Disney.com could provide you a better package. I would check both Disney and a travel agent and compare prices. The first time we went there we stayed at a resort within Disney. The second time we stayed at a Holiday Inn a couple miles outside of Disney and saved a lot of money. You can also save money by not eating at Disney. A 20 ounce Coke was $3.00 in 2002. I can only imagine how much it is now.

We went in September for 5 days and stayed at a Disney resort. It cost us about $2500-3000 (we stopped counting) for a family of four. That didn't include airfare....just Disney. But we spared little expense. You could get by with less than that. You don't need a travel agent...just book thru Disney directly. They even let you make payments.

Check out disneyparks.com
You can also see what a travel agent has to offer, but Disney has been having some pretty good deals for like a family of 4.
I would see what you can get on your own first.

You can go to http://Disneyworld.com and at the bottom of the page there is a quote box. It will let you pick out a package that is just right for you or a room only reservation. You can also have a look at http://mousesavers.com which is a website that offers all the latest discounts on room only and packages for disney. Hope this helps

Here's a link to Disney. I think she can prolly find a good deal without the agent. Disney has a lot of packages available. Also, if she is a credit union member, she might be able to get a good deal thru her credit union.
