I like a board game that few in the general public play, just a few die-hards of war gaming. It is called "Squad Leader". It is by far the best game ever designed and it is fun. I haven't played "Advanced Squad Leader" yet, which I have heard is far superior to the original. I will get ASL when I can afford it.

That's partly a matter of taste--but here's my opinion:

#1--Chess. It is an ancient game--but I've yet to see anyone come up with it's equal for challenging play and entertainment.

#2 Monopoly. Why-I really can't say, except its fun and engaging.

#3 Scrabble. Fun--and you can't help but learn new vocabulary.
