It does. And it makes me wonder what all I've said in the past that's being processed in that little trap and what the conclusion will be... get me outta here....

All the time, because my memory is awful! But then again, different people remember different things. I'm most often impressed when people I know can recall conversations and events that have happened between themselves and I....that's where my memory doesn't work so well :)

Yes. I used to know someone who had one of those record-breaking IQs. He did have astounding recall and astounding insight. To balance this response, though, I also know some people who are not particularly bright but have remarkable recall of details, sometimes over decades.

Depends on what they remember. I remember locations to cell sites I haven't been to for over ten years. That makes people wonder what else I've got in there. I also remember commands to do things in our switches that others have forgotten long ago.

my brother has total recall, and i'm jealous of that.
however, i can remember further back than he.
my 1st memory is from the age of 3 weeks old:
i was taken to the Dr. for my 1st vaccines.
they hurt so badly i couldn't walk for 16 months!!!

I had a boss at a camp I worked at who could remember names of everyone she met--even campers that came only one year 3 years ago.

Yes, especially my dad- he has Alzheimer's but he can remember everything about fighting in the Korean conflict because he was there.
