I support the War on Terror. As far as I'm concerned it's the only real fight the World has left. however, I don't support America's rushed method of fighting that war which I think has been mixed in effectiveness and has taken away Americans' freedoms that we should never have given up in the balance.

Conservatives generally don't like the government getting big in the wrong areas. Most conservatives would say that national defense is a legitimate concern of the Federal government, thus they don't mind increased spending to pursue what they see as a legitimate war on terrorism.
They are conservatives after all, not anarchists or libertarians.

You guessed incorrect. actual Conservatives does not supply up ANY Rights. The Rights of people have made us the most envied usa and maximum effective citizenry contained in the global. Busheviks are an complete 'nother ballgame. listed right here are a number of the Rights they have suggested by speech or action that they received't supply up: the right to obscene company income (wager Who.) the right to massive, funds busting tax breaks for the wealthy in time of warfare.(the wealthy.) the right to purchase Explosives without chemical tracer tags that could want to practice who made and offered the explosives utilized in a terrorist act. (The NRA) the right to scrimp on kit and medical look after the troops. (Bush and Rumsfeld) the right to disclose the Indenties of Covert Operatives who arise with a end that would not help their guidelines. (Bush, Rove,Cheney, Libby, etc.) the right to Stonewall Congress as a thanks to carry down the kind of lies they ought to tell. (the full Administation) the right to create an complete new branch of authorities to dodge having to testify earlier Congress.(Cheney) the right to abuse the skill of authorities to commit State subsidized Terrorism hostile to each person they disapprove of by "Morality depending " guidelines.(The Christian good) you'll imagine that a gun might want to be an more desirable danger than loose Speech or the right to call an legal professional. inspite of the indisputable fact that the Bush administration disagrees. they have performed little if something about guns and a lot to suppress loose Speech and the Rights of the accused.

It's herd mentality. Liberals would do the same thing. However, you might notice that many Conservatives in this Congress have disagreed with Bush and other Conservatives on the war more so than in the past.

Because conservatives know that it takes time and patience to fight against those who are against freedom. If we don't fight them on their soil, we'll eventually have to fight them here on our soil. 9/11 isn't proof enough of that? They've already attacked us MORE than once - a majority of the attacks that came prior to 9/11 (the attack on the WTC in '93, the USS Cole and the embassy in Kenya) were brushed off and ignored by that liberal idiot Clinton. He proved it in a letter he wrote saying just that, so that's why he did NOTHING to fight against those who caused 9/11. If Clinton did more to go after and kill Bin Laden, the chances of 9/11 happening would have been slim to none, but he FAILED and so, Bush has to clean up his mess and take the heat for going to war against those who want to destroy this country and bring it to its knees! A vast majority of our soldiers fighting in Iraq support Bush and his agenda to fight terrorism - just ask any soldier about the liberal rhetoric being thrown around here! They're disgusted with it all! I've heard our soldiers say so on national tv! I also have a friend that served in Iraq and he wants to get out of the military because of all the liberal crap being said against our military being in Iraq!! I don't blame any of our soldiers being disheartened over the liberal BS - I would be too if I was there serving my country and fighting for the sake of freedom and liberty and fighting for the Iraqi people's right to be free!
