I had the best new years in, well, in years! How about you guys? Any good stories?

Don't know if this is fun..but I did set fire to the neighborhoods 15 x-mas trees...shot off about 100 rounds from my weapons and blew up a copier. Other than that..it was pretty normal.

Three years ago my husband and I survived a series of life altering events in a very short time span, and this Christmas and New Years were the best holidays that we've had since that time.
We were able to celebrate the holidays and re-connect with family and friends.

I was apalled at how bad it was! me and my guy and our little girl were supposed to have a quiet night together-family holiday stuff- but my guys friend and gf came over and daddy couldnt be pestered with his daughter-when trying to act cool for friends.He didnt get that she was excited and didnt want to be sent to her room alone while everyone yucked it up in the livingroom-so I avoided him and company and tried to salvage the night for my girl.oh well I didnt expect much from the day..or my guy.still thankful to be in the new year and glad you had fun-(ps thanks for the chance to vent-thats been bottled up all day)

It's "New Year" singular, NOT New Years, plural, I hate when I hear people say it like that, same as with A&W's, or Safeways. Anyway, it's just another day for me, but a good day, every day is good.

celebrating it by myself, the other side of the family says that im not really part of the family since i was my moms daughter in her first marriage. its ok though i'd rather spend it by myself than with them. im glad to know yours was better than mine.
