What is next number in this sequence?

11,31,71,91,32,92,13,73,__

I believe the next number if 14, since the sequence looks like the two digit primes starting at 11 (11,13,17,19,23,29,31,37,41, ...), but with their digits reversed.

I can see that the 1st, 3rd etc. numbers multiply by 3 each time. I can see that the 2nd, 4th etc. numbers subtract 2 each time. Which would give a continuation to the series: 2 9 6 7 18 5 54 3 162 1 486... with 54 the for the requested 7th term. However, there are an infinite number of formulae for the individual terms which would give any value to the 7th term!!!

I tried to figure this problem out and it is very hard. I came up with many solutions. I believe it is 23.
