I like to catch crawdads in the crick behind my house and I keep some of them as pets and i keep them in different cages because when you put them together they kill each other...and how do I tell male from female??

I don't know how to tell males and females apart, but I had a pond with crayfish, and they multipled like nothing else. It was a large pond, so maybe they need room.

Be careful you don't get crabs...they may pinch you too.
