While Raina can be a suitable replacement for Kaif, Venugopal rao cannot be considered as an ideal replacement for Shewag because Shewag is an opener and Venugopal Rao is not. Further Venugopal Rao is not an attacking batsman as compared to Sehwag

Venugopal and Raina, are you mad.
Keep Raina, but in place of Venugopal we have some very good players to replace Sehwag at the top.
Shikhar Dhawan, Dheeraj Jadav and Robin Uthappa are doing very well in the Ranji trophy. They deserve a chance. In fact i would even skip Raina and keep Yuvraj solely because he is equally good in fielding as Raina, he is an experienced batsman and he can bowl too. Kaif and Raina as specialists.

no not all, atleast v can rely 40% on sehwag n kaif, but only 20% v can rely on venu n raina. venu can do it to some good extene but not sehwag.aftr providing sehwag wit so many chances he cudnt prove but then still people believe he can do, instead of getting bak raina y dont u think pathan can be bought bak, if not wit ball he is gud wit bat.
