In the opening lines you hear (sarcastically) that "the prisoner" is guilty of "showing feelings of an almost human nature". I assume this is referring to pink, the protagonist. But this line seems to contradict the point of the song, which is supposed to be that Pink brought everything upon himself (the evidence is contravertable!). My question is how does this line "showing feelings of an almost human nature" function in the song? It just seems to contradict the message in The Trial

Sorry about that error. The thing I don't get is how it seems sarcastic. Like he should be allowed to show feelings. But he hasn't. So how did the worm convict him?
