I am somehow confused at your question to be honest. Do you or do you not want to have a dial up connection as well as broadband? If you do, how did you have it previously? No doubt you used the built in modem that is and most probably is still in your pc? although I personally cannot see any reason for anyone subscribing to broadband which is normally dearer in price but wanting to use dial up as well which is much slower too??? except if you want to send faxes from your PC, in which case you just unplug your broadband modem temporarily, (the cable of which 's gone through the filter into your telephone line) and install the PC's modem cable into your telephone wall socket. This way you can also use the dial up connection as you had before. (just go to your control panel and set up a new connection by following on screen instruction).

If it just has those 2 and not 3 - 4 other ethernet ports, then no this will not work, that modem was meant for 1 ip and thats all, sorry.

You can buy a regular home network hub really cheap. Or, plug another LAN card into your PC, then hook that to your xbox 360. Be sure internet sharing is turned on with your PC. If you have some cash to play with, buy a good multi-port router instead of the hub.

the modem may be a combo modem/router...with the one ethernet and the other usb port...check the users manual and see if you can connect two computers this way , otherwise you may need to get a router to connect the two computers to, .
