I think that you can play it online because in the corner of the box it says "Game experience may change during online play." How do I play online? What do you do in online play?

Well, then can you play the Sims 2 online? I have the holiday edition. And where do you go to download the stuff for Family Fun Stuff?

Sims 2 and it's expansions cannot be played online.

It says this on the labels for all the games. It doesn't really makes sense since you cannot actually play online, with the exception of course of "The Sims Online" but that is actually much closer to sims 1. Anyway, I believe what they mean by this is that the game experience can change by using custom content you get online. This is their way of saying they are not responsible for things yuo put into your game through downloading. There is a way to download things from the web within the game (if you click the custom content button in the corner (which corner? I don't remember) on the neighborhood screen) however you can only download from the sims exchange in this way. Hope this helps. :)

You can't play online on that game, but you can download additional content via the content browser for the website of The Sims 2. The only Online Game for The Sims is the MMO: "The Sims Online".

No,no,no. They are talking about the items you can download onto your Sims 2 game. You dont play online, you only download items from online.
