I know all the dating sites, but it has dawned on me recently that dating very rarely leads to marriage. Are there programs for people who actually want to be married? (I am looking for something non-religious.)

Your question is actually a pretty good one. The dating sites that are out there all advertise they will find your partner for life. Once you meet some of the people, you'll realize these dating sites aren't all that. Not saying there is anything wrong with these dating sites(I have a profile on a few), but I think you may be let down from what you would expect. I'm looking to get married, too. I've been there, done that on the dating scene long enough.

You are dating the wrong kind of guys. If you are looking to get married, you need to date nice guys who are not looking for one night stands. Do not appear to be too needy and clingy. You should probably date a guy several months to several years before you even think of getting married. If you are just looking to get married, and don't care about love, then find an illegal immigrant to marry, so you can be married, and they can get a green card. If you want to be married, and want to be treated right, try dating larger guys, I have found most of them are really nice, they just have a weight problem. But, you have to love yourself before you can love anyone else. Don't have sex with them on the first date, but don't wait too long, or they will leave before you can get a ring on your finger.

When you try one of the dating sites be sure to mention that you want to marry. The men who only want to date will be scared off by that, so they responses you get should be honest ones.

Do like I did and find a man from overseas. Mine is wonderful and very loving and he asked me to marry him on Christmas Day. Was the best Christmas ever. :-)

Sweetheart, why are you trying to get married?? Are you just happy by yourself?? Do need all the drama and bs that goes with the marriage??/ I guess if you are looking for someone to pay for your bills.

Seriously...I saw on TV once a girl went to a mall and started screaming at the top of her lungs that she wanted a husband...she screamed for a while...a crowd formed...and eventually a guy said yes.
