I have the original counter-strike game. But when I go in to play against others online, there is no one there? Is this because no one plays this game anymore, or do I ned to update something?

Yes, you need to update your game. The current version is 1.6 of the original release. If you don't have that version it wont work.

i think you just need to update your game so just go on the CS site pay 5$ and activate your account you get the updated version. and yes people still play

If the game is for Xbox then there might be something you have to do because there is always people online. If it's for the computer then there might not be anyone on because there is more than one counter-srtike.
