Don’t blame liberals for your mess. We said from the beginning that this was not only an illegal and immoral war – but more to the point – it was doomed to failure. There was never a possibility of the invasion leading to anything other than what we have now.
EVERY non-partisan Middle East expert in the world said that the most likely outcome of overthrowing Hussein would be a civil war and further destabilization of the region.
BUSH’S OWN FATHER said invading Iraq would only result in America being stuck in a quagmire, the loss of its international standing in the world, and would jeopardize America’s long-term interests in the area.
COLIN POWELL told President Bush, “if you break it, you own it”.
Well, you guys broke it (against the opposition of most of the world and half of the American people [the educated, intelligent, pro-American half]), and you own it. It is your mess, so quit whining like babies and trying to place the blame and responsibility everywhere except where it belongs – on your own ignorance, arrogance, and anti-US Constitution and anti-America agenda.
For once, why don’t you people act like adults and show a little backbone.

There are liberals fighting and dieing in the Iraq war. Some of them signed up after 911 thinking that they would be fighting Al Qaeda. Be respectful.

Because the liberals haven't got enough brain power and backbone to help. It's much easier for them to continue on their brainwashing 'Hate Bush' campaign than it is to help win the war. They know nothing else but spewing out hate and verbal attacks against Bush and they know that Bush has more guts to stand by his convictions to fight against the very evil that has attacked us in the past. Clinton sure didn't have any backbone at all when the WTC was attacked in '93 or the attack on the USS Cole or the Embassy in Kenya. He just shrugged off those attacks and went out his business as usual. Had he done more to go after Bin Laden instead of kissing his butt and pretending to go after him, chances are 9/11 wouldn't have happened in the first place! Now, Bush is cleaning up the mess left behind by Clinton and is taking all the heat from it! Heaven forbid Clinton should make any enemies in his liberal party by fighting against terrorists! He loathes the military and he said so in a letter he wrote, thus, the reason why he did very little to get BL!

maybe it's beyond the point of helping (which it damn well seems)?
maybe it's because the conservatives are more worried about unimportant issues like gay marriage to get anything worthwhile done in Iraq?
maybe this is just a ridiculous question because we want to get the troops back before another 3,000 die for some phantom reason?

because when this part of the war on terror is over then we will have a chance to look for the WMD's elsewhere. and they don't want them found until they are unleashed on us so they can take some more of our liberties away.

You got that wrong.... This is an occupation and senseless murder of 655,000 Iraqis.... 10 times more than Saddam managed to kill in his 30 years in charge. Get the facts right or start getting ready for your bedtime.

Why do we "need" to do that?
Shouldn't we be fighting terrorism instead?
