Yes. There have been many shootings in Colorado, and Denver specifically over the last 8 years. I just wrote an essay on this the other day.
I can site examples and dates.
People in Colorado are lawless hicks who all carry guns.
It really IS the Wild West to this day.
I drove thru there a few times. My friends from Minnesota drove thru another time and said everyone was trying to pick fights.
They are probably crazy cuz there is nothing around FOR HUNDREDS OF MILES and it snows in the middle of July (exaggeration for effect).
I think somebody lost big on the game and sent a mafia-style "message" to the organization.
The Broncos really should have won that game, like Mike Tyson should have beat Buster Douglas.
ALL PRO SPORTS ARE RIGGED.

I have been to Denver a few times and it's like any other big city there is always a chance something like this happens. It does everyday we just do not hear about it as much when it's your average Joe. The Answer to the Question above about why America is so violent is we as Americans are Lazy and some people take a easy way out. Instead of going out and earning a honest living some people have to take advantage of honest hard working people!!! I was stationed in Australia and there were some pretty bad areas there also but I'm sure you are right that has never, ever happened there?

I dont know if it is necessarily violent but it doesnt seem to be the place you want to be if you are a pro player. They were talking about how (during the game yesterday) the 49ers were remembering their player (Thomas Herrion) that died of a heartattack in the locker room last year in Denver after an exhibition game. And then a few hours after the game that they were talking about Thomas dying, Darrent was killed. It stinks so bad. He was a great player and I loved watching him play. I was rooting for him when he was at Oklahoma State (I was born and raised in Stillwater and will always be a Cowboy fan) and even though I am a Charger fan I rooted for him and Tatum on the Broncos because I am a big fan of theirs. I know that Stillwater and Denver will truly miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and teammates. And Denver is a great town but like all towns you have stupid people that do stupid things and considering it was new years eve the person who shot him was probably drunk and didnt know what the **** they were doing. It is truly sad. Hope you all have a good new year and do visit Denver it is a good town.

My heart goes out to everyones family that has lost a loved one to gun violence. we also forget that a lot of these NFL players think that they are immortal and nothing can happen to them. 9 times out of 10 i bet it has been the player that started the arguement. when are we going to put the guns down and fight like men. all you idiots that have guns you can all rot in hell!!!
