Blue Rodeo are great! Steve Earl , he has been around for a long time but has had very little radio play. His older stuff is better than the new. He is a cross between country ,rock, bluegrass and whatever he feels in his body at the time. Check him out.

I go to New York City at least once a year to see Gary Lucas play solo or with his band Gods & Monsters. Gary is one fine guitar player and but plays mainly in NYC or Europe.
