I deal with the facts and only the facts which doesn't go over well with others because they want everything sugar coated. Everyone is more comfortable hearing what they want to hear rather than the truth. I figure I'm their reality check, lol!
Great Question!!!

George Bernard Shaw said if you are going to tell people the truth, you'd better make them laugh, or they'll kill you. I agree with that. I sneak up on every point and try to take all the negative and downside upon myself, so people won't feel confronted. That stinks, is cowardly... but heck, a lot of people think I'm nice.

I tell it like it is because whats the point of sugar coating something? Should be able to speak your mind without worrying about what ppl think of you because in the end, why does it matter what they think? The only ppl who do matter wont criticize you for your opinions and outbursts on things.

When I was young it was hard for me to Tell it like it was in certain situations. With age I have learned to lay it on the line, good or bad. But I also believe in the old saying, if you don't have something good to say, shut up. Now that refers to saying something that needs not be said if its going to hurt someone for no good reason.

OOO i am blunt as they come. It has gotten me in trouble many many times...but if it's important you gotta say it. Lately yes i've been monitoring my language machine..but i def will tell it likes it is. I view sugarcoating as a mini lie and underestimating the persons ability to accept the truth.
Course...the best language from me is silence and letting people dig themselves deeper and looking stupid lol.

It depends on the situation. Telling it like it is can often cause more havoc than good.
