Fact plus is the test that i used to determine whether or not I was pregnant...I took 3 and they all said positive, and I now have a beautiful little girl.

Surprisingly, cheap tests purchased at dollar stores or on the Internet are often more sensitive and reliable than expensive store brands. HPT's are like soda: very cheap to make, and marked up quite a bit for retail.

How reliable is Fact Plus?
In laboratory tests, Fact Plus is proven to be more than 99% accurate* in screening for pregnancy. Dependably sensitive, Fact Plus is able to detect hCG when you have missed the first day of your period. If you don't have a regular period or are breastfeeding, this would be at least 14 days after possible conception.

ive used one, and it gave a negavite result, which was true. The box for fact plus says it is over 99% accurate. it all depends on your level of hormones and how soon before your missed period you take the test though, and no brand can be 100% accurate. i think fact plus is one of the cheaper brands, but they all use pretty much the same method (they detect hCG, human Chorionic Gonadotropin, which is a hormone that is present in urine when a woman is pregnant).
For the best results, you should use "first morning urine" and I would reccomend peeing into a clean container rather than directly onto the strip.

If it's the blue dye test I wouldn't trust it completely - especially if the positive line is faint or thin.

You're best bet is to use a pink dye test - ie First Response, WalMart Equate, a digital like ClearBlue Digital.

Even more accurate - wait til after your first day of your missed period and Ask your Dr for a blood test.

Best of luck!

They only pick up a high hcg count, whereas the Early response picks up a smaller amount. You know which preg test picks up the most, the 99cent store carries it, Darden, and only for a dollar at that! If your test says you are preg you are very likely to be though.

mine was pretty accurate with fact plus.
I have used other brands and have never had an issue with any of them either.
If you are worried about your response, purchase another brand. If they both say the same thing...well...then i would assume them correct. But also visit your doc to make sure.Sometimes illnesses and other factors can interupt your test results.
