My drain pipe from my house to the septic tank is clogged. I pushed a snake as far as I could untill it stopped. I pulled it out and found sea-weed like roots.
How do I kill them and clean them out?

This is not an approved technique. Put some round up down the drain, wait a few days then run the snake. Once they are dead you will be able to push them to the tank. Use plenty of enzyme to clean out your septic tank. If you have a tap, it may be worth having the tank pumped out.
