Too many KG haters on here. How about a guy (KG) that is so unselfish and has no supporting cast. Yes kobe is a better scorer but thats it!!! If KG took 50 shots a night he would score like that also. Kobe has the rings but KG really has only had a good team 1 time. Look what happened to the Lakers when Shaq was ran out of town and then he wins a title in Miami? Makes you think it's not a one man show. I would love to see KG go to the lakers but I'm not sure if Kobe would like another great player on HIS team.

I think between the 2, Kobe as the better ability to take over a game in all aspects. Any night of the week, Kobe can hang 50 points on someone. Garnett can be a dominating defensive presence, but he's not going to dominate night-in and night-out.

Although I hate to say it Kobe is. Garnetts great, especially for how quick he is when hes as big as he is, but Kobe is just a force to be reckoned with, you don't put up 81 points by chance.

Both of these NBA players are superstars. Both are extremely wealthy. Both are by the far the best players on their respective team's. And both failed to make the playoffs last season.

Garnett scored 22.2 points per game, 13.5 rebound per game, and 5.8 assists per game. He shot 50.25% from the field basketball court and 82.0% from the free throw line. On his the defensive end he had 1.48 steals per game, and 1.38 blocks per game. Kevin Garnett is an relatively injury-free player and has also played in all 82 games the last 3 seasons.

Kobe Bryant averaged 28.6 points per game last season shooting 42.2% from the field basketball court. He made 82.6% of his free throws while shooting at 34.0% from the three-point goal line range. He also averaged 1.5 steals per game, and 0.80 blocks per game. He also dished and passed out 6.0 assists per game and grabbed and pulled down 5.8 rebounds per game. He only played 66 games last year and has only once in his 10 year career played all 82 games in a single season.

Who do you think is better? Don't forget that Kevin Garnett has still been yet to win a single championship during his NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves, or that Kobe Bryant also has yet to win one without Shaquille O'neal on his team, The Los Angelas Lakers in and on the NBA.

KG because he can score, get boards, block, and play really good post defense.

Kobe can only score. It takes more than just scoring to be a great player. KG has alot more to offer than Kobe.

Garnett, especially if you were starting a team. Always go with size.
