Cellophane is a kind of plastic made from cellulose. It's used for wrapping things (like food and flowers), but is also used in making clear tape and other products.

saran wrap/cling wrap/thin platic. used to seal CD/DVDs for sale as well as things like produce at the grocer. you can buy it in rolls and rip off pieces to cover food. not really a good idea to use with food. they say plastic molecules change and break away and enter our systems thus increasing our risk for cancer...but then again... doesn't everything on earth basically cause cancer nowadays???
