how to you become famous?

question? how do you become a famous actor/actress? i mean how does someone find you? what do you do to get famous or noticed?

Well it takes time...and you have to put a part into it. I live in Hollywood but I haven't tried to be famous. First of all if you really want to be considered and you want agents to take you seriously you have to show them you are mature enough to handel everything an acting career has to offer.
I would recomend you to go to a school of arts. They teach you everything you need to know there and you make plays and everything and if you are good enough they may help you get a scholarship or a job on acting. And you still take all the basic subjects. How would I know? Well I go to a school of arts. And maybe you are familiar to the Sprouse Twins who have a show well they went to this school of arts and that's how they got their job.
I don't know where you live but you could go to many auditions. For movies or plays. Doesn't matter but at least you're doing something. Or if there is any type of contests you can join try ro join it.
And as the other users said you can upload a video on YouTube...maybe someone sees you. And try MySpace too. Try everything you can all your options.
You could try goign to audition for Broadway if you don't live far away from NY. That's a start too.
And if you have any relative that's famous or was famous that helps.
Getting and Agent would help.

ill tell you this much... im trying out for something called Alex in Wonderland at the Kenedy Performing Arts Centre. Its a play/dance. I do ballet, and there arent many guys around here that do ballet (its from ages 5-18) and some important people go to see some performances at the Kenedy Centre. So im hoping i will get noticed. I hope that helps the slightest bit.

GIRL ONE WORD "CONNECTION" people become actors or actressess by connection.if there related to important people.i am related to stupid zac efron.but i dont care about him.its connection.people get famous by connection becuase they know people.do you think all those actors and actressess got famous by them selves no they had connection.like jamie lynn spears she is an actress becuase brittnay is her sister connection.i can become a celebrity if i want i have been in a couple of movies and T.V. shows.i can be famous becuase zac is my cousin and i know people miley cyrus i can be a star too.miley cyru is famous because of her dad connection.

first, you get an agent. How do you get an agent? the best places would be California or New York. Your agent will determine is you have the talent or not. If you have talent, your agent will be in charge of your career. After you get an agent, you try out for stuff like commercials, shows, movies, ect. Once your show/movie gets popular, you get famous.

you can't just wanna be famous and think people will help you. you have to have talent, luck, hard work and connections. And good PR. and people have to like you and want to see.
