Alright thanks for coming!:) Little 'ole me has some problemo's with my psp! I try to turn up my volume and once it get about 3/4 way there it STOPS and AVSL pops up...what does that mean! I mean, why have the volume bar go on but the true sound stop? Tis sooooooooo annoying!

The AVSL is something designed to stop the volume going over a certain ammount, and damaging your ears, to disable it, do the following:

Settings
Keep in mind the supplied headphones also have a filter built into them, so for true volume, plug in an alternate pair of headphones.
