Funny you should ask this. I was just recently thinking how this part of my life has changed. I've become much more open-minded about music, and it has payed dividends. There are some fabulous artists out there!

Absolutely. I wrote an editorial for my high school newspaper about this. I am a music lover and that means that I love every genre and am open to new things. It pisses me off when people say they're music lovers and then they say something like "OMG! I can't believe you listen to this crap!" If you're a music lover, please don't put down other people's taste in music.

open enough to be willing to listen to any kind of music, but once i've heard enough to be sure i can't stand it, i don't bother listening to it again...disco lasted about 5 minutes for me...alternative/grunge made me want to do a kurt cobain, and i'm not that into flannel and sullen...new age puts puts me to sleep, and i've heard all the rap/gangsta i cand take-i live classic rock, good country, zydeco/cajun, blues, some jazz...gospel, Christian rock, punk, early rock n roll, i've even found that i like listening to bagpipe music (which is DEFINITELY an acquired taste) and bluegrass...but i'm not so much into reggae, ska, 'world' music...and whatever house 'house music' comes from, they might as well burn it down...

I like all genres of music. I don't like particular songs or groups. Kudos to the poster who said they liked Celtic music because I love it.
