He always says Magic was his idol but then why does he play more like Jordan? I think he's full of it.

He grew up partly over seas as well and one of his favorite players was D'antoni (sp?) of the italian leagues

plus he doesn't play that much like Jordan, not even close

I agree that hes is full of it.
Personally, I don't think he plays like either Magic or Jordan. They are way better than he will ever be.

You don't have to play like someone for them to be your idol. It's not like he's trying to imitate anybody kobe is playing HIS game not Magics or Jordans. Playing like he does works for him, if he just happened to try and play like magic what if he wasn't as good at it, then what?

Who are you to judge him? He doesn't play like either because he's not as good as either of them. He probably Magic because he was a Laker too, and he was probably out of the idolizing phase of his life when Jordan was at the hieght of his career.

he plays like jordan and sometimes better

jordan was my favorite player of all time too but u have to realize his FG% wasnt all that great

kobe plays better than jordan in terms of FG%

he does play like jordan but he doesnt mean to, its just the way the best play

that is why he can never become His Airness. When Jordan reached the most number of shots he started shooting like hell, 42, 44, 46 points yet his team never won.
never admits yet do wants to become like Jordan.
He will never be.
