Wsup guys, I stained my black polo shirt by accident. The stain is slightly darker than the black polo itself and it really stands out in the light. I've already washed it but it won't come out. Is there anyway to fix stains on a black piece of clothing or do I just have to buy a new one? Any links to good cleaning sites? Thanks!

Did you try spray and wash? You always have to treat as soon as possible and it's much harder after washing and drying to get it out, drying kinda sets it in. You can still try spray and wash, liquid dish soap or even shampoo. Put it on the stain the scrub with hands and let sit and then soak in washer with other dark clothing then wash again. don't dry it if it's still there. If it's still there try hairspray or alcohol, you have nothing to loose then if it lightens it right? Good luck.

Personally, if you already tried getting it out and it is still stained, I would take it to a dry cleaners and let them give it a shot. They have great stain removers and can work miracles. It's cheaper than buying a new shirt! Good luck.

seem on the laundry label on the shirt. If it says to no longer use chlorine bleach, then you definately can do this: purchase a bar of Fels Naptha cleansing soap ( it is stressful to locate because of the fact it is an previous shaped cleansing soap) . hose down the shirt and lay it flat on a towel. Rub the cleansing soap properly into the blue spots and permit the shirt take a seat for roughly half-hour. positioned the shirt in some heat water, and scrub on the blue spots along with your knuckles. If the extremely some blue is popping out, wring out the shirt and place it on the towel lower back and rub cleansing soap into blue spots lower back. Repeat till you're chuffed the blue is long gone. Laundry the shirt, yet do no longer positioned it interior the dryer yet, examine for blue spots first. the warmth in dryer will set the blue deeper interior the shirt. in case you ought to use bleach on the shirt blend up a susceptible answer of that and soak the shirt for quite a few hours earlier laundering.

Usually, unless you stained it with oil, spray & wash usually works.... but often times, if you've washed the shirt without treating it first, you likely won't be able to get it out, as it has been "washed in".

Most likely, you'll have to get a new one.... sorry!

I wish you had said what you stained it with. All stains require different washing methods.
