I am sorry that you are getting so many judgmental answers. Its none of their business to why or when you had one-they never walked in your shoes. I had 2 miscarriages and carried a 3rd one full term with no problems so I am assuming that you are going to be just fine. My friend had 1 abortion and then delivered a healthy girl and then another abortion and then another girl. Things just wern't right with the babies she aborted. Good luck.

don;t you just love how some people decide to throw their opinions of you, without knowing you or your situation into an answer simply because the question had the word abortion in it? Wake up people, if you can;t answer the question as posed then move onto another one.
You should be able to conceive again if everything was done by a reputable surgeon and there were no complications.

If you took the antibiotics and refrained from sex for a least 2 weeks after your abortion then you should be fine. Since you said that there wasn't any complications then getting pregnant shouldn't be a problem. I took my friend to the abortion clinic once and read one of the journals there about the previous women who gotten abortions and from the entries some of them were there for their 4th abortion. So it is possible to get pregnant. Just thought I let you know that.

Yes, it may affect your chances of both conceiving and carrying a baby to term. It doesn't matter where or by whom your abortion was committed. Every abortion, whether done in a sterile environment or not, is what is known as a "blind procedure." The abortionist cannot see what he is doing and damage to the reproductive organs can easily occur. Furthermore, the cervix (tightly closed to protect the baby) must be forced open, often leading to tearing and permanent damage. If the abortion was done at a reputable surgery center, then your chances of getting pregnant again are good. However, you should wait for 2 to 3 menstrual cycles before trying to get pregnant again, if you were purposefully trying the first time. If not please use birth control.

My ex-girl freind just had her first abortion 7 months ago, she is now 3 months pregnant again. It all depends on your body and your health. If it helps in any way.

It doesn't. One of my HS friends had a couple of abortions, one of which was in her 2nd trimester, and she now has 3 kids. My college freshman roommate had an abortion, and she has 3 kids.

Everything should be ok,,,,,,,,,,,,,but make sure you are checked by a reputable gyncologist . Go to yearly checkups to know that all is staying normal . Judgements are for insecure closed minded people who want to hurt instead of help . Stay Safe
