I am trying to grow terrariums in different types of bottles( 1 gallon wiskey bottle) 6 gallon carboy etc) I'm looking for different types of plants that would grow in these containers, and would reallyt like varieties that have flowers, but evergreens will be good also. Thanks, I know already that Baby's Tears fair well in this type of situation.

Thanks,

Carnivorous plants of certain types will do good, but not flytraps. You may want to try certain tropical sundews or terrestrial bladderworts. Depending on the size of the container. If it is a bottle I'd go with the bladderworts.

There are a bunch of carnivorous plants that could be used as terrarium plants also. Venus fly traps and sundews are a few that may do well.

Here's a site with a little bit of info about carnivorous plants in a terrarium. http://www.thegardenhelper.com/carnivorous.html

You can go with succulents and also with cacti. They like different conditions so use in different containers. Also small ferns like like staghorn and all other types too. Flowering plants are a little harder to grow in that kind of container but you can. Good luck.
