My doctor told me that i have a small pin hole in my water bag but sent me home...i am 37 weeks pregnant and he said that my body will reproduce any fluid that is lost cuz it is such a small leak...Has this happened to anyone...also i was dilated a finger tip, but that's more than i dialated with my first child...Has this happened to anyone

I did. I was only 24 weeks though. It actually sealed itself. The baby drinks the fluid and pees it so it still has more. Also your entire amount of fluid is replaced daily. Don't worry about that. With each of my children my body did more and more of what it was supposed to. I would keep an eye on the leaking though and if it suddenly gushes... get back to the hospital. Good luck

I worked in L & D, for 3 years. We never sent anyone home with a positive pH strip. (a small piece of paper that they place the fluid on to tell if it's urine or amnio) But I have heard of tears sealing themselves. as for the fingertip, one baby has already came out that way, you can remain a fingertip for several weeks and it's not abnormal at all. I was a fingertip with my 2nd child for at least 6 weeks. Good luck

My friend had the same problem and the doctor told her the same thing. Sounds like he is right on track.
