The cyst was caused because of torn cartilage and fluid leaking into the back of my leg. The cyst was large and the doctor scraped it from my hamstring. I am working with a therapist and the doctor and she seem to believe this will all be okay. I have my doubts and wonder if anyone has had a similiar experience.

I do FEEL for you and know what it is you are going thru.. Six weeks.. Not to worry.. they told me it would be over and ready to walk in 3 weeks.. It took 2 months before I had full use of the knee.. Knee operations of ANY TYPE(small or large) take a long time to heal.. Hang in there. it will be ok.. by the way.. I hope t hat you are taking some type of therapy with that .. knee bending, etc etc
