I have no idea. I completely understand that many people have a deep opposition to minor parties, but realistically I feel that the these have the policies which best reflect the views of the populace.
Like it or not, the bulk of people outside multi-coloured Red Ken's Utopia of London have major issues with the Socialist Blair government.
They generally dislike multi-culturalism, dislike religious diversity and consider non-integration of migrants one of the most major issues, along side the inter-related high crime.
Now, disliking immigration and being a racist are two completely separate concepts. Anti-immigrants (though being generally inarticulately portrayed in the mass media) simply wish to preserve all of the British Isles unique identity through uniform ethnicity- and whose to prove them wrong?
If we look at the examples of the US, Holland, France and Germany we can see that multiculturalism has had major failures, whereas if we look at an almost 98% mono-ethnic country, such as Japan, we see the major contrasts in society. Japan has low crime, high literacy, less unemployment, excellent public infrastructure, excellent housing, very high social morality, civic pride, extreme respect for the aged- and this is common for many of the mono-cultural countries I have lived in (in terms of social values)
Multi-culturalism is an unrealistic Marxist ideal of a Socialist society without prejudice and without class. There are very few people who can empirically prove the positive worth of multi-culturalism.
However in reality, in even African countries, class is based on race- the darker tribes have very little representation in government. Same in Indonesia, the fairer Javanese and Sundanese rule government and the military. Same in Burma, in Thailand etc.

Furthermore, the bulk of the population seems to agree with very strict law enforcement and the reintroduction of capital and corporate punishment and the removal of the UK from an EU sovereignty acquiescences.

I never voted for Labour and I never will, because I distinctly Labour about to go to the IMF in the 70's with their begging bowl and given half the chance, they'll ruin this nation by tuning into a Utopian Socialist backwater.
Labour deserted their electorate long ago and the Tories for long where the only sensible opposition. Now there are more.
I will be proudly voting BNP as I believe in the bulk of their policies and I have no shame or qualms about doing so. I'm half-English/Irish (Northern), atheist, PhD educated, married, comfortable and I support their views. I'm a Royalist, a Loyalist and bloody Proud of Empire- I saw what it had achieved.
I've lived everywhere basically and I never truly appreciated my heritage until I returned and saw it slowly being eroded under Livingstone and Blair.
If you truly loved you your nation, as I did like an old flame, you'd do the same.
Fight Back and Make our Nation Great again! Vote BNP!

The Labour Party will remain in power (government) until there is a general election in UK. This is due in about 3.5 years (approx.). Labour have a very large majority in the House of Commons and look set to remain in power for a long time to come, in spite of the polls giving the Conservative Party a lead.

Everything which makes our lives better and more comfortable, has been won for us over the last century by the Labour Party and the Labour Movement. Our civil rights as citizens, a free at point of need National Health Service, State Pensions, The Welfare State and so much more.

The economy of the United Kingdom is the best it has ever been for over one hundred years. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown, has created a partnership between New Labour and Business. Our economy continues to gain and the number of unemployed persons is down. The result of these ten years of hard work, is that the UK economy is now the world's 5th richest. As a nation we are on a roll and it's thanks entirely to Labour.

VOTE LABOUR to secure your future.

Labour and Blair in particular assembled a coalition of support which carried them through general election victories in 1997, 2001 and 2005. During this time, people have got wealthier, the economy has stayed strong, unemployment low, massive investment in the main public services that people care about; as well as an opposition that looked as if it did not understand modern Britain. The question is whether, under a new leader, that coalition can hold together or whether the staleness of a government that has been there for 10 years will make people commit the very stupid error of throwing them out and ending up with the Tories again.

The UK doesn’t know what they have till they lose it. I have the opportunity of being born in the Nederlands and have lived in Switzerland, France, Germany and the UK and have visited countless countries as a network engineer. When I tell you that the UK is the best country in the world to live in I mean the very best country. The standard of living, the flexibility of work, access of education and health care is second to non.

There is no perfection in Government. However a devil you know is better than an angel you don't know. All David Cameron says is green green green, and nothing about policies. His supporters says he does not want the labour government to steal his policies that is why is not mentioning them. I say that is the lamest excuse I have heard. if the policies are for the good of the British People why is he hiding it? Is it relevent who implements it provided the British People are for the better?

He says is motto is NHS, NHS, NHS and I laughted my head out when I heard that. and I ask, if the NHS the greatest problem facing the UK? It just shows the young man has found him self in shoes too big to wear.

On the issue of Iraq, people say going to Iraq with America was a mistake but I say it was not.

Adolf Hitler did not attack the UK until the UK attacked Germany to prevent a possible invasion by Germany and America came to your aid of the UK (no matter their motive).

Under Tony Blair Muslims where saved from Slobodan Milosevic after the UN failed to take any action. Muslims in Kuwait were saved after the invasion by Saddam Hussein even as the UN failed to take any action.

I say it is necessary that the UK and USA continue to play a leading role to control certain situation from escalating.

Tony Blair is being quizzed to say military action is off the table in the case of Iran and I tell the Sun news paper and their cronies "wake up and smell the coffee" Would Iran have a nuclear weapon and not pass it to Hezbollah, would Hezbollah not make a deal with Bin laden to sell him some nukes?

You can see the effect of the little quantity of polonium 210 brought into London and how many people have been contaminated by radiation from it. Not to mention when Bin Laden and his foot soldiers get a hold of such harmful chemicals.

What every preventive action to stop a domes day scenario from happening must be done by the UK and the US as truly they are this world’s last line of defence.

The EU and UN are yet to wake up to the present realities of the 21st century. The stupidity of sanctions have been shown in the case of North Korea (KIM Jong Il) and Iraq (Saddam Hussein), that sanctions have no effect on the leaders but punish the poor citizens of these countries and drive them into absolute starvation.

They won the 2005 election. I never used to meet anyone who voted for Thatcher in the 80s either but I accept that a huge amount of people did.

Strange that isnt it ... I am begining to think the UK is Florida.. with a wee bit of rigging going on.... The world must think we are all idiots having Blair & Co in Power... the guy is a blatant Joker and everyone can see right through him and his cronies... but who are we to argue .. V for Vendetta..eh ?

***Lets stop saying there isnt anyone else to replace him - someone else needs a chance - to get Labour out of Power..

I voted for them, and in the absence of any serious opposition can only see myself voting for them again.

Having lived through the 1980s and 1990s when Conservative policies destroyed communities with unemployment, starved public services of cash and started to dismantle the NHS, it has been a breath of fresh air to live in a country with nearly full employment, and investment in schools and hospitals. Sure things aren't perfect and this government has many, many faults but a return to the Conservatives will mean stepping back to the darkest days of Thatcherism. Worse still would be letting the BNP spread their racist poison in our country.

Iraq is a mistake and a disaster, but any of the main parties would have done the same.

Those of you who cheerfully admit to not voting - don't you think you kind of lose your right to complain about things if you won't participate?

It's only the civil servants whose sinecure jobs Labour created that vote for them - and their little vote factories where they vote a couple of thousand times each.
