Cream cheese isn't included in the category. It's fine to eat cheddar, mozzarella, american, and parmesan cheese. They are the most common types of cheese. Some cheese may contain germs (bacteria) called listeria. These germs can cause a disease called listeriosis, which may cause miscarriage, stillbirth, or serious health problems for your baby. To avoid listeriosis, you may want to avoid soft cheeses like Brie, Camembert, blue-veined, and Mexican-style cheese.

According to my book, no roquefort, camembert, etc.

"Stick to pasteurized dairy products, and make sure those you use have been refrigerated continuously. Soft cheeses, such as feta, brie, blue cheeses, and soft Mexican-style cheese made from unpasteurized milk (also called "raw milk") can be contaminated with listeria and are particularly dangerous for pregnant women."
