I just posted this question a few minutes ago, but i figured i would be a little more specific this time. I am 20 so i want to live in a neighborhood with people close to my own age. i don't want it to be a "crappy" neighborhood, but not to snobby. you know what i mean? any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

If you are looking for an apt., go to this website and you will find ratings and comments from the people who actually live there.

I just recently moved and I was looking for the same things you are talking about. If you live anywhere near that area where you can go and literally look for yourself - that is the best way to really get a feel for it. First I would drive through the prospective apts. or neighborhood during the day and look at the cars and the people, etc. Then I would go back at night and do the same thing. I would also check on the weekends. Another good way to get a feel for the area is to go to the local stores - like the nearest convenience store or grocery store. There's always the price factor too. If you choose a place that is really cheap, then trust me you are going to have some issues to deal with. I found some apts. that looked "decent" and then decided to spend $100 more a month to get into some that were just a bit nicer. I feel really good about the choice I made now. Good luck!
