perhaps you get an erection all the time. could not the tightness of briefs cause your penis to stay small. Also, could it make it bend downward?

No it will not. For your second question, that depends when you get your erection. If you're standing and your penis is flaccid and pointing down but becoming hard, the briefs will most probably make it stay down, but erect.

Nope, my husband is 43, has always worn briefs and his penis is completely normal and the growth was definitely not interfered with.
