I know this is one for the guys. But you haven't moved in with my husband have you, as this is a very interesting question? I love a bit of TLC when i am ill, but when he feels bad- he is so miserable and never appreciates being looked after- but if i ignore him that is wrong too. Normally he's fine- but when ill- I'd like to help him on!!

I am a complete bstard with the wounded and I live to the same rule. Show me blood or get back in line and start shovelling like everyone else. If you dont work you dont eat.

Bit of both, would be nice to have someone show me that true concern and affection, but I think it would be nice when she'd go to work, and I could just do my own thing for 8 hours.
But I do think it a man thing to shut down and internalise when ill.

Yes, when I've felt ill I've enjoyed being looked after. When I was seriously ill (thankfully, only once) I wouldn't have cared who was looking after me, male or female, I was too ill to care.

I like to have a quilt put over me with the TV remote to hand and the daily paper. for lunch, a bowl of Heinz tomato soup and some crusty bread. Also several glasses of port during the day

you know for a fact that when you feel better it's expected to be paid back in some shape or form.
