Take one and insert it into your rectum. As for the enema.............try the suppositories first. If they are bisacodyl aka dulcolax suppositories it should start to work in 15 minutes up to about 30 minutes or so. If you do need the enema fill the bag with lukewarm water and add about a teaspoon or so of castile soap or just use warm water. Lubricate the end of the nozzle and insert it into your rectum. While lying on your side slowly open the clamp and let the water flow into your rectum. If you feel cramping or have trouble retaining it close the clamp and breathe slow and deep for a minute till the feeling subsides. Take in as much of the solution as you can hold and wait about 5 minutes before emptying out into the toilet. Now that you have learned a valuable lesson be sure the rest of your medication are up out of your little sisters reach.

Take the enema first. If it's a fleet enema, follow the directions on the box. If you have an over the counter medication that is a suppository, go to the drugstore and read the instructions on the box or ask the druggist.

the tip should go into the rectum. Once you insert it, stick in as far as you can. Wait for about 20 minutes then it should work. It make even work sooner then that.
