I am staying home with my youngest due to her health reasons, her asthma and allergies were keeping her so sick and I was missing so much work it was better for both of us for me just to stay home. I'm looking for something I can do from home. Not looking to get rich, just earn a few hundred extra dollars a month to make up what I am missing from working. I am not looking to sell any products (I know my limitations and selling is something I am neither good at, nor interested in). I have looked into a home daycare setting, however, with daycare rates here, I wouldn't be making what I would need to with the state's limitations (and my own sanity limitations) with the number of children that can be kept in a home with only one adult. I have an entire home office complete with everything you can imagine. I have done research on the internet, but most require a good bit of money to start, and that is not something I can afford to do right now with no income.

I personally ran a home daycare for 6 years. It is wonderful and has great rewards, but it can also leave you burnt out and feeling underappreciated! After 6 years I was forced to close my daycare just before Xmas, due to lack of enrollment. Feeling like you, I went searching for a legit opportunity that I could make a decent living and still be with my 3 kids. I am working now with a wellness company. I do not feel that this is a get rich scheme, but if you work hard at what you do, you are adequatly compensated.
If you are interested in how to start a home daycare, I can certainly help you. I have worked both regionally registered (here in Canada) and privately. I have alot of forms, craft ideas and helpful websites I can share with you if you are interested!
If you would like info about the Wellness company I can give you info about that too. I am working just 10-20 hrs per week and expect to make about $1000 just for the month of January. Here are my websites:
www.geocities.com/cassandrasdaycare (for the daycare I just closed)
and http://busymom.myteamsite.com/ or if you would like you can just email me at cassandrasdaycare@yahoo.ca for more info.

Just typical of the non-wealthy. Always want something for nothing. If you get something for nothing, then that means someone else gets nothing for something.

Using a little faith, and a system that works, you can use little and let it build for you. But if you want something for nothing, you will end up with less than when you started. After you jump from one "plan" to another.
