Does anyone know where i can get a playstation 3 or a nintendo wii in chicago?

PS3 should be easy to get. I saw 3 PS3 at Target today, and when I went to Best Buy, the employee was asking some guys if they were looking for a PS3. I think the employee has some in the back. On December 26th at night, about an hour before closing, I saw about 15 or so 60 gb PS3 for sale at Best Buy.

The Wii is a whole different story. Probably going to be tough to find until around March or so. Your best bet is to call the store every day and see if they know when they're getting their shipments. Might also want to get to the store early on Sunday since that's when most stores seem to have them for sale.

there is no chance in my opinion to get a Playstation 3 soon in any retail outlet. As someone else mentioned somewhere all pre-orders will be fulfilled first. If any shop happens to get new stock imagine all the campers who'll sleep in front of the stores or the chaos and then within minutes all will be gone.

Another option - a very secure and reliable one which least know of actually - is to purchase a Nintendo Wii thru any trusted 3rd party seller directly at Amazon. They have good feedback, deliver on time, mostly are merchants themselves simply and Amazon operates as the platform, in fact the purchase is processed directly via Amazon as you would usually buy from them.

listen, its gonna be hard to get either of them. but try getting the wii since it is cheaper by $350. try calling each store to c when their next shipment is. here the stores u should call and go to: gamestop, target, and best buy. those r ur best bets.
