ciara can never be Aaliyah. Aaliyah had "real" talent, grace and style & comes from a musical family. Her aunt is legendary singer Gladys Knight. Ciara is a product of the industry & carefully molded so she'll have crossover appeal. Aaliyah had staying power and was doing a great job of breaking into film as a successful actress. even after her passing, her star shines brightly. ciara can TRY and that's about it.

I don't agree, in a way. People shouldn't really put down Ciara because it's not her deciding what to wear most of the time in her music videos, it's her people behind the curtains. They think this will make more sales. Relating her to Aaliyah does make since when it comes down to her appearance, but as far as the music, it is pretty different. Her new CD "The Evolution" doesn't sound anything like Aaliyah's song. Additionally, both of their music is good!!!

People just hating. She reminds alot of people of Aaliyah and they just can't handle that so they tried to say that. Ciara is trying to be herself.

No, they are two different ppl with some similarities. There will never be another Aaliyah. She was a true class act.
