ok looking for some advice. basically, i go to college in upstate NY, and met this amaaazing girl who lives in cali. i fell completely in love with her, the most i have ever felt for someone. we hooked up once, but it was really casual and she was drunk. she has a boyfriend and i know she likes me alot but i don't see her letting it go anywhere. she's kind of crazy and very bipolar but i can't help loving her. she dropped out of college and is not coming back. so i'm in love with someone on the other side of the country i'll never see again. should i just erase her from my memory? delete her screen name, end the very little contact we have now? i'm thinking the only thing i can do is forget about her. i know i sound like a rambling loser but i can't stop obsessing over her and its making me really depressed.. all i do is cry and eat when i think about her. i just want my life back!

It will hurt for awhile but you will get through this and move on. It would be good for you to work on getting out more. When we are feeling blue we tend to isolate ourselves along with the crying so what I mean is simply to get out the door. Go for walks, do some campus activities, talk to some of the students you sit next to in class, invite some over or go over to their place. It doesn't matter what you do as long as you get out of your place.

Dude that sux!!!! I feel bad 4 u!

I think the best thing to do is find something else to think about, it's usually referred to as a rebound fling, but it could be something else apart from a chick - maybe join a team or something.

Everything happens for a reason, maybe she was in your life to show you something - what kind of girl you want or something.

Good luck - every day it will hurt a little less!
