Question #1- Is it just gays that you are against or are you against other minorities as well? Regardless of what you may think, bigotry is bigotry. Maybe some of you are okay with that label. Oh, and please don't give me some stupid response like, "I'm also against murderers, does that make me a bigot? Murderers make a choice to murder, gay people do not make a choice to be gay.
Question #2- Do you have any idea how ignorant your responses sound when answering questions dealing with homosexuality? One example is a response like, "No one is born gay." Please think long and hard about how ridiculous that sounds. Did you choose to be straight?
Some other absurd answers include:
"gay people dont care about giving childring or completing one another they just care about their urges."
"....man+woman= baby, any other way of having or raising a child is unatural and against ALL religious teachings."
"Gay males are all really big perverts and all they want is a weenier from a man."

Wow! Some of you have really opened my eyes! You mean you really did choose to be straight? I had no idea! When did you choose that? Did you walk into a restaurant and after choosing the taco salad on the menu you then chose the boy at the next table? Amazing. You know, I think I will choose to be straight, even though i am not attracted to women. It could work, right? I mean, if you people chose to be straight than I could certainly choose to be gay. Thank you so much!
P.S. You people are unbelievable and quite clueless.

To Rita: Of course I believe in God! Do not think for a minute that just because I am gay that I do not believe in God. It is what the Bible and religion tells me that I do not believe. I really don't think God inspired the Bible and even if he did, then somebody got the translation wrong. God made me gay. Religions aren't supposed to judge, unless the person is gay apparently.

Honestly, you really think you chose to be straight? When you looked at that boy, why did you choose him? Just for the heck of it? No, you chose him because you were attracted to him. You couldn't control your attraction and neither can I.

going with one of the people on the answers...im only level one myself, so again, i cant rate. but everything you said is true'. we did not choose to be straight...do you (all you homophobes out there) honestly think someone WOULD CHOOSE to be hated, and choose to be harassed and beaten? WOULD YOU CHOOSE to be harassed? it is not a choice...sexual orientation is determined at least 3 months before birth and up to the age of three. we dont choose. we just are. theres no turning back, so we accept and are proud of what god has given us....
and speaking of god. so many homophobes start quoting bible verses at us...and going on to say that the bible says god dont like us....the bible also says that eating shellfish is a sin....also says to love one another and treat one as you would like to be treated....also, says god will judge...you have no right to judge us. so if your going toplay the god card, actually follow what it says in the book.

Some of them are against just gays. Some against other minorities as well. Some against anyone who differs from them in any way.
You may be a hero but you're also a martyr. Why do you choose to bang your head against the wall trying to get the homophobes to respond rationally. They are incapable of doing that. They are confined to mental straitjackets. Many of them did not choose this confinement any more than you chose your gayness. I doubt that many among them can ever be converted .... by any means.
Something for the Bible literalists answering here to think about though. Have you ever played the children's game Whispering Down the Lane? That is what your Bible is like. It has gone through countless translations and reinterpretations. How many of you have ever read the books of the Bible in the languages in which they were originally written? I suspect very few of you. Most of you don't even know what the Bible really says. Do you even care?

I'm straight and I never chose to be. It was just when I started to have sexual feelings that my body and mind just responded to guys. The same exact thing happens with gay people except they respond to the same gender. Nobody "chooses" it. I don't understand why these boneheads don't get this. With all the crap and homophobia gay people have to deal with it, why would they choose it? I also think that alot of these homophobes are also racist and bigoted towards other groups. They seem to think that anyone who's not exactly like them should be shunned. I celebrate the differences we have. I love it that we have different cultures, races, colors, religions, sexual orientations, sizes, etc. How boring would it be if everyone was thin, white, blond and heterosexual? And how does it affect their lives if two men or two women love each other and want to be with each other? I just don't understand why some people can't accept the differences in people and live in harmony.

Gay isn't a choice, for a gay person to just stop liking the same sex is like asking a straight person to marry someone of the same sex, tell you to just deal with it, its normal and thats what you have to do, because the Bible says you do. That you have to sleep with someone of the same sex and pretend to be ok with it, because your suposed to love it.
Its not something someone whos straight can really comment on. You can't understand, because your straight.
I also don't believe in religion. Its used to segregate christians from each other and give them things to argue over. Who cares what you believe as long as you believe in something??This one can dance, that one can't. This one eats meat, they don't.???
This will always be a question that causes arguements.... Walk your own walk and when your perfect then you can cast stones.

I'm not against people. I'm very for gay rights but to some of the people on here I just wanted to say that being gay is not a choice and its not sick no matter what you may think. Do I want to see it? No, but then again I don't want to see two heterosexual people either. It just astounds me the number of people that believe the crap they spew.

Could I add another question to the Kedar's?
Why do people keep bringing GOD here?
This section is NOT about religion.
Rita, dear, get some professional help, the "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered" community is going to chip in and pay for a CAT scan for you.

In response to "The Catholic Jew"s comment: People do not have the choice NOT to be gay. They only have the choice to not show it or act on it. If you didn't be who you really are, you'd be lying now wouldn't you?
Also how would any of you straight people know if anyone chooses to be gay? Did you choose to be straight?

after serving time in a state prison for beating a gay bashers head against a light pole.
I still feel that if 2 people want to have sex then that is their right ,after all it is their bodies .
I also feel that the basher type people are for the most part bullies cause they always hide or run if they can.
