I am about to open a small business in an area 2 hours from where I live. I want to print up cards -brochures - etc but I have no pysical address in the area to set-up phone service. is there a way to establish a phone line with that areas local number without actually being there?

Yes google for voice mail companies. for 4-5 dollars you get a telephone number and voice mail and can check it by Internet or phone.

It has been several years, yet for my business I got a listing in the yellow pages that I could put on call forwarding. The cost was much less than a "number" . Hope that Helps . Speak to A small business specialist.

yes you can set up with an answering service. they will provide you with a number and they can forward your calls. check your local yellow pages.
