DOn't go to a department store unless it is after the prom season. During that time dresses are anywhere from 50 to 70 percent off. I would recommend going to Ross, Michaels, or a store like that. Ross is the best. My friend and I got beautiful dresses for prom for 30 bucks each! I also got a nice dress at dillards for 40 but like I said earlier, it was after the prom season (may-august). I would definetly suggest going to a discount store like Ross though. Happy Shopping!

Dillards have some nice formal dresses. You may want to also try Macys and JCPennys, but your best bet is Dillards.

You would have to say where you're from. If you don't, all I can say is second-hand stores or relatives.
